JOB PROFILE:



o In charge of the mechanical design of the product (Design the product) and lead the CAD

technical definition in respect with internal VLS methodology for CATIA and PDM tools

(Product Data Management); ensure compliance with DGL (standard Design Guidelines),

standard components and standard materials.

o Responsible of the mechanical design of the product respecting quality, cost and lead-time

targets

o Estimate the needed resources for the design activities of the project and manage CAD design

activities in accordance with this defined budget

o Manage the time schedule of his activities and must ensure it is compliant with the project

time schedule (Design plan, workload management, define, create, follow WO based on

project general technical requirements)

o Follow and promote Quality control/procedures.

o Participate to QRQC analysis (Quick Response on Quality Concern)

o Prepare mechanical aspects for DR (Design Reviews) according to standard procedure

(documents templates, checklists, tools)

o Responsible of his dedicated design resources competences assessment/development.

o Ensure good application of N+1 requirement.

5 years design experience in mechanical design with significant projects (Rear or Headlamp preferable)
